Based in the Netherlands, Bugaboo is an innovative design/manufacture firm. In 1994, Max Barenbrug developed the prototype of today's Bugaboo Frog as a design school graduation project. With help from his brother-in-law, Eduard Zanen, Max revised the multi-function stroller and began to market it. After several frustrating years, persistence and adaptability paid off for the Eduard and Max and Bugaboo broke through and established itself. Fairly new to the United States market, Bugaboo is already a big name in the elite stroller category.
